DR JULES CATT

Dr Jules Catt is an Endovascular Specialist and Interventional Radiologist at Liverpool Hospital, Prince of Wales Public Hospital and various private Hospitals across Sydney. He is the lead Doctor at Sydney Vein Specialists.
 

He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiology and certified by the European Board of Interventional Radiology.

He specialises in minimally invasive image-guided procedures and endovascular treatment. Dr Jules has a particular interest in the fields of venous disease, interventional oncology and embolisation therapies.

Significant areas of practice within the field of venous disease veins include Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT), Post Thrombotic Syndrome, Pelvic Congestion Syndrome in women and Varicocele embolisation in men.

He is a passionate advocate for patients and the wider healthcare system. Beyond medical specialisation, his training includes a Masters in Public Health from Sydney University and the Graduate Program on Global Policy and Governance at Duke University in the United States. He is experienced in national health policy and has been a Director and Councilor of the Australian Medical Council.

 

Dr Jules worked with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists as Faculty Councilor and various educational committees over many years. He is currently a member of the Panel of Clinical Experts advising the Ministry of Health on the medical prosthesis list.
